Crews are working to repair a water main break that closed a section of Yonge Street near the Eaton Centre this morning.
The northbound lanes of Yonge Street were closed between Queen and Dundas streets for several hours on Thursday, forcing traffic to be diverted onto Shuter Street.
Crews were finally able to shut off the water at around 8 a.m. and buildings on the east side of Yonge Street, from Dundas Street to Shuter Street, currently have no water supply.
It is not clear how long it will take to complete repairs.
