France Tax Agency Updates Thresholds for 2020 Temporary Allowable Company Property Tax Exemptions


The French General Directorate of Public Finance Oct. 23 updated an administrative doctrine on 2020 temporary allowable property tax exemptions for companies operating in certain urban areas. The exemption thresholds include: 1) 29,532 euros (US$32,744) for companies creating or extending establishments in sensitive urban areas or priority neighborhoods of city policy (QPV); and 2) 79,661 euros (US$88,326) for companies creating or extending establishments in entrepreneur urban territory zones or for certain commercial activities in QPVs.
